Household Appliances
Our home delivery team can collect your old kitchen appliances when we deliver your new one. All we ask is that you disconnect it before we arrive*. And remember to defrost it if it’s a fridge, freezer or fridge freezer.
Televisions
The same goes for televisions. Buy your new one from us and you won’t have to worry about disposing of your old television. We’ll take it away and recycle it.

Take advantage of our great service by selecting free collection when you order appliances and televisions for home delivery. You can select this under the finances & services tabs on the product page or at the basket page (make sure you’ve selected home delivery).
All Other Electricals, Electronics and Supplier Delivered Appliances
If we deliver your order by post or courier or our supplier delivers direct to your door, we can still recycle the electrical you’re replacing. Simply bring it into one of our stores and we’ll take it off your hands.

WE’RE DOING EVEN MORE:
As part of the DSG international plc, we at Currys are committed to achieving high standards of environmental management:
• We use 100% recycled plastic in our carrier bags
• We already recycle more than 200,000 products a year
• We are actively working with the Carbon Trust to cut carbon emissions
• We’re working with the charity Waterwise to promote water efficiency in appliances
• We’ve already bought 40 double-decker trailers for our home delivery network –that means 18 fewer delivery journeys each day and a saving of 950,000 tonnes of diesel
• We have installed more than 3,000 water-saving devices into staff toilets, saving a litre of water at every flush
